As a dedicated Executive Director, Carmen brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role as Director of People, Communications, and Marketing at the Kenilworth Multi Academy Trust.
A CIPD Chartered member, Carmen has achieved the highest HR qualification at CIPD Level 7, showcasing her commitment to continuous professional development and staying up to date with industry best practices.
Carmen initially joined the Kenilworth Multi Academy Trust in 2022, assuming the position of Head of HR. Taking up this strategic post Carmen joined with fourteen years’ experience of HR in the education sector, gaining a wealth of experience working with schools across different districts. This experience has enabled her to understand the unique dynamics and challenges within the education sector, this knowledge positions Carmen well to design tailored HR strategies that align with the Trust’s overarching vision and objectives.
As an Executive Carmen is committed to the Trust's vision of 'Aspiring to Excellence through Quality, Ambition, and Independence.' Carmen's focus on workforce planning and strategic people management underscored the critical role HR plays in ensuring optimal organisational efficiency and productivity. Her passion for fostering success through people has driven her to provide a value-added service, enhancing the overall business performance of the Kenilworth Multi Academy Trust.
In a strategic move, Carmen transitioned into the role of Director of People, Communications, and Marketing, succeeding her position as Head of HR.
Carmen's experience, qualifications, and strategic outlook, coupled with her alignment with the Trust's vision, make her well-equipped to lead initiatives that contribute to the growth and success of the Kenilworth Multi Academy Trust.
In her spare time, Carmen finds joy in spending quality time with her family and friends, especially during family holidays. Her leisure activities include walking her cockapoo and cheering on her sporty son as he engages in rugby, cricket, and football.
